Air Conditioning and Refrigeration

Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology offers students the technical knowledge and related skills that will lead them to a successful job in the field. Students are provided learning experiences that are compatible with in-field practices. Students will be able to demonstrate their ability to identify and use the various tools and instruments associated with the installation and service of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. It is offered on the Ayers and Valley Street campuses.

Dual Enrollment 

Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology is a scholarship-eligible program for Gadsden State’s Dual Enrollment Program. The program is available to eligible high school students. Through Dual Enrollment, students earn both college and high school credits. Eligible students must have at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA. They must be a high school sophomore, junior or senior, and they must have approval from a high school counselor or administrator. Limited scholarships and grants are available!
